The SBC004SV is a single-board computer compliant with the VITA 78 SpaceVPX standard. It operates as a Payload Module and includes an FMC interface for I/O expansion and customization.

It features an AMD/Xilinx Versal ACAP with 8 GB/16 GB of ECC-protected DDR4 on a 72-bit bus and 1 Gb NOR flash for configuration and firmware. The board also integrates two 1 Tb TLC NAND flash devices accessible from the Versal SoC.

A Microchip PolarFire FPGA serves as the system controller, providing platform management, health monitoring, and fault recovery. It includes 4 GB of ECC-protected DDR4 and three 1 Gb NOR flash devices for configuration, firmware, and user data. The controller also supports user-defined logic and I/O for low-power auxiliary processing.

The SBC005SV is a general-purpose unit compatible with the Vita 78 SpaceVPX standard. The design supports operation as System Controller or Payload as defined in the SpaceVPX standard.
The SBC005SV includes a PolarFire FPGA with 2GB of ECC protected DDR3 SDRAM. There are also up to 128 MBytes of triple modular redundant non-volatile NOR memory and 32 GBytes BOL of raw SLC NAND memory for the file system (ECC protection optional). The triple redundant NOR memory provides safe storage for the application software and operating system when a softcore processor, such as RISCV, LEON is used.
The DDR3 memory can function as a buffer to store data transferred between the high-speed SpaceVPX interface and the FMC interface.](/content/products/sbc005sv/index.html)

This single board computer is ideal for low power applications. Its main device is a Smartfusion2 from Microsemi, a System on Chip (SOC) that supports a Microcontroller subsystem (including an M3 microcontroller, DDR controller and other peripherals) as well as FPGA fabric in the same device. The inclusion of both a hard microcontroller subsystem as well as a soft FPGA fabric enables great flexibility an essential part of Novo Space's DNA. These FPGA fabric allows software defined architectures and IOs, allowing the support of multiple options for FPGA Mezzanine Cards (FMCs) as well as IO to the backplane.\nThis is the ideal platform for implementing machine learning using TensorFlow and PyTorch directly on FPGA fabric without modification while keeping a low power consumption.
